Fatima Girls Academy

About Us

Seeing the Christian Missionaries establishing Schools to equip Christian youths with both modern education and religious education to make them a good Christian and considering the educational backwardness of our own community, need to start school where daughters of the community could get modern education and culture cropped up in our mind. Immediately we resigned from our services for this noble cause. For the terminal benefits and by selling of jewelleries of my wife we could collect Rs 150,000/- My mother also encouraged us by donating her savings of Rs 10,000/- It was in 1998 when we got a house on rent (Rs 600/-) per month and a school was started there with 17 girls of class VI & VIII. Thus FHET came into existence. In 1999 the very next year admission goes to 170 and the space became insufficient, then we acquired 0.5 acre of land on lease for 6 years and constructed 5 rooms on it. For the girls coming from far off remote villages we started hostel on 13th March 1999 with 7 girls.

In 1999 with the help and patronage of local Muslim intellectuals a trust was organised and we got it registered with the district register vide Reg No. 7954/IV/992.

Keeping in view the need of the students and teachers we started our library in 2000 and a computer lab in 2001. We purchased 0.25 acre of land in 2000 and 0.81 acre of land in 2002.

Two more schools "Safa Public School" was established in Lohardaga (District Head Quarter) 75 km away from Ranchi, Jharkhand, India in the year 2000 and at present more than 300 students are studying in it and The second Modern Public School has been started at Narkopi village 40 km from Ranchi with more than 300 students.
